Jane Hansen AO, Chair of the Hansen Little Foundation today announced the appointment of a seasoned philanthropy professional, Vedran Drakulić OAM, as the new Chief Executive Officer, commencing in late October 2024.
The Hansen Little Foundation was established by Paul Little AO and Jane Hansen AO, to help create opportunities for all Australians across a range of causes and initiatives.
In announcing the appointment, Jane Hansen AO noted, “Vedran is a highly experienced executive in philanthropy, whose own values align with our ours in making significant and identifiable positive change in our communities. He approaches his role with great professionalism, integrity and compassion.”
“As Paul and I approach our giving with greater focus and intent in coming years, Vedran is ideally placed to help us achieve our ambitious goals and aspirations and we are thrilled to be working with him,” added Jane.
Prior to his time in philanthropy with the Gandel Foundation, Vedran spent over 15 years working in the humanitarian sector, including with the International Red Cross, Australian Red Cross and Oxfam Australia, followed by a corporate stint as GM of Public Affairs with the RACV.
Commenting on his appointment, Vedran Drakulić noted his admiration for the philanthropic work and achievements of the Hansen Little Foundation and its founders.
